easyvis.io heavily relies on URIs which you define to reference to your media.

Public URIs

Easyvis.io supports many media type URIs to play your public media. The URIs which you provide need to comply to the generic syntax defined in RFC3986

Our easyvis device player is based on ffmpeg and is therefore extremely flexible in playing all kinds of streams. For more information compare the ffmpeg documentation.

You can try some streams from here: Example Streams or Test Videos

Local URIs

Via the easyvis.io media management you can upload media to your device. With this your media is also offline available and does not need any kind of streaming. To access this kind of media you need to follow this URI format:

file://yourLocalMedia

Note that you just need to provide the name of your local media (no media file ending). You have set this name when uploading your media to your device.
